Don't forget about the Christmas party / movie / game night that will be happening at my (Cody's) house this Friday Dec. 18th 2009 from 6pm-9pm! If you are interested in participating in the "white elephant exchange", than please bring a small gift that is wrapped (you do not have to go out and buy something, but you can if you want, just keep it inexpensive).

Traveling Teens!

Hey,

This Sunday is the next "Traveling Teen" trip and it will be held at the Grandville Church of Christ. The events there will start at 3pm and then at 5pm they will be hosting an area wide singing time at their church. At 6pm there will be food and fellowship...and we will leave shortly there after 6pm.

GIRLS NIGHT!!!!!!!

Hey Young Ladies,

Please don't forget to attend the Girls Night that will be at Cody and Micah's house this Friday night (Nov. 6th) from 6-10pm. This is open to all girls between the grades of 6th-12th and their friends that are girls. Micah will be providing dinner and a movie ("One Night With The King"). She does ask that for those girls who are interested in painting nails should bring their own nail stuff (Micah will provide nail polish remover).

Teens @ Holland + Sign UP

Hello To All,

I pray that you are having a blessed day and that you are serving Christ in all that you do:)

I just wanted to remind everybody that this Sunday we will be traveling to Holland for the traveling teens ministry. The festivities start there at 3pm, so we will be leaving from the church building NO later than 1:45pm. I am prepared to leave without people if they are late, so please show up a few minutes early:) The return time is not 100% known at this time (since this is the first time that we have done traveling teens in this way), but we will be leaving shortly after their evening classes. I will help communicate an estimated arrival time when we are on our way back to the church.

Pumpkins! Games! Movie! Snacks! FUN!

This SATURDAY!!!!

Hey Everyone!

I pray that you are making plans to come and support us this weekend at the West Michigan Youth Conference / Concert in the Park! I also pray that you have been inviting everyone you know to join us in this special event!

I would also like to ask you all for your prayers as we approach this weekend. There is a lot of planning and details that will have to come together in order to make it happen, but most of all, pray that God's Holy Spirit is present to convict our hearts to live more for him! Movie and Game Night!

Hey Everybody,

This Saturday (Sept. 26th) from 6pm-9pm, Micah and I would like for YOU and ALL your Friends to come over for some fun with games and a movie! We will be providing a few snacks, but if you feel the need to bring something than you can bring a drink or snack to share with the rest of the group. The movie that we will be watching is called "Everything Is Spiritual" and it is very good!

Also...just a reminder about this Sunday's "Discovery Dinner". The teens are going to be helping serve the meal to our visitors and we have been asked to be there around 4pm. The meal will be served around 5pm. Come when you can and lend a helping hand:) Thanks!!

The Last Tue. Night Devotional

As you may already know...this coming Tuesday (Aug. 25th) will be our final Tuesday night devo for the summer. We will be concluding our Tuesday night fun at the Van Buren State Park. We will officially meet there at 6pm and will leave from there no later than dark. Please arrange your own car-pooling if need be (since I figured everyone will be on different schedules and will be coming from different places). If you are interested in eating while you are there, please pack/buy your own food and bring it there. There will not be any food or drink provided. Also, please bring a lawn/beach chair since we will plan to have the devotional on the beach.

One other note...Teens and their whole families are invited to this event. We want you there and hope that you will join us! Please feel free to contact me with any further questions:)

Hello,

Youth Group Paint Day/Church Work Day!

Traveling Teen Sunday!

Don't forget that tomorrow is "Traveling Teen Sunday" here at the East Main Church of Christ! We plan to have visitors from Grandville and Holland and we will spend class together, worship, and then after church we will share in a lunch together (Lunch will be provided). After lunch we will have an interactive devotional and then we have planned a few activities at the park! Everything will be over with by 3pm Sunday afternoon:) Please plan to be there and support as hosts.

Relient K

Hey EMYG:) Just a reminder that tomorrow (Friday July 31st) at noon is your last chance to join the Relient K fun that will be this Monday at the Ohio State Fair Grounds at 7pm. The cost is $15 for your concert ticket and gas money, and then you will be expected to cover at least two other fast food meals along the way. We will be leaving from my house (3103 Morgan Street, Kzoo) at 1pm on Monday Aug. 3rd and we plan on returning around 2pm on Tue. Aug. 4th. What is up my Christian friends:) I hope you are having a BLESSED week so far and that you are planning to come hang out and fellowship with the Kirkendall's and I...we will be swimming (bring swim stuff and a towel) and chillin' and then we will be having a devotional to end it with a BANG!!! I Love you all in Christ and I will see you there:) INVITE your friends and acquaintances and strangers...etc...you get the idea.

Tuesday Night Devo!

Canoeing & Kayaking This Saturday at 5pm!

The more the merrier for this occasion! Please come and join the fun this Saturday on Portage Creek. We will meet at the Celery Flats park on 7335 Garden Lane at 5pm and will rent canoes or kayaks and will ride down to Portage Creek Bicentennial Park (off of Milham Ave). Once we are there, we will end with a potluck/cookout:) Parents of teens and all of their children are welcome to come and join in on the fun. Parents...please bring one or two items of food the share with the group (Cody and Micah will be supplying all of the hotdogs and buns). We will need some drinks and side dishes. The prices for renting are $13 for a one person canoe or kayak, $16 for a 2 person canoe or kayak, or $20 for a 3 person canoe only. Tuesday Night Devo!

Tonight is the Tuesday Night Devo starting at 6:30pm at the Niestrath's house. Please bring a pair of clothes that you don't mind getting wet and also bring an extra set of dry clothes (there may be a slip+slide).
